Noah Greenberg, MSW, LCSW
Instructor, Surfing & Ocean Activities
Having earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Recreation Therapy from San Diego State University, as well as a Master’s of Social Work from San Jose State University, Surfing & Ocean Activities Instructor, Noah Greenberg draws upon his expertise in the fields of adaptive sports and counseling in his role at Beacon HouseSM.
In 1986, Noah founded Carmel Surf Lessons, the premier resource on the Monterey Peninsula for surfing instruction. In addition to running his own surfing school, Noah is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, as well as a Lecturer in the Kinesiology department at California State University, Monterey Bay, with an emphasis surrounding therapeutic play, movement, and group dynamics with special populations.
An ideal fit for the Experiential Treatment Program here at Beacon House, Noah’s professional background provides a unique opportunity for clients participating in the Surfing & Water Sports classes, to focus on conquering one’s fears and spiritual discovery.
