Dana M. Evans, LMFT, LMHP, LPC
Regional Director of Admissions & Utilization Review
Dana has been working in the addiction and mental health field for over 20 years. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Clinical Psychology from the Claremont Colleges and Master’s Degree from Bethany University, specializing in Marriage and Family Therapy. Dana also attended Alliant International University, where she received additional postgraduate training.
Dana has worked with a wide range of clients and families in hospital settings, residential care facilities, social service agencies, and has been an integral member of the Beacon HouseSM team for over a decade. In her tenure, she has held many positions at Beacon House including: Director of Assessment & Referral, Community Relations and Utilization Review, Regional Director of Clinical Outreach, and Case Manager. She has extensive experience in primary treatment of addictive disorders, case management, individual and group therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, relapse prevention, and co-occurring disorders. In addition, Dana managed the implementation of integrating an electronic health records system at Beacon House, as well as facilitating their family program.
Dana currently holds the position of Regional Director of Admissions & Utilization Review. Her dedication and love for the Beacon House is inspiring and her belief in their mission shines through.
